Course Breakdown:
Quality Systems - An introduction and explanation of Quality Assurance, Quality Systems and Quality Vocabulary and the ISO 9000:2000 Series of Standards.
â Prevention vs. Detection - Benefits of implementing ISO 9001 and an overview of the ISO 9001 Standard and their applicability to prevention as opposed to detection.
â Audits - An explanation of audits, their purpose and planning, and the way to approach, perform and report an audit.
â Auditors - Their responsibilities, personal attributes and auditor selection. Auditor Certification Scheme.
â Accreditation and certification - Review of quality management systems certification and accreditation
â Delegate Assessment - Assessment is carried out by:
(a) Continuous assessment of delegate performance throughout the theoretical and practical phases.
A written examination.
Who Should Attend:
All levels of company employees from Chief Executive to shop floor staff as well as independent consultants may be interested to attend. This course is essential for those auditors wishing to register with IRCA and is necessary for those personnel wishing to perform second or third party audits.
Course Methodology:
1.
All attendants shall be provided with a hard copy of the training material.
2. Presentation via a data show (power point presentation), white board and flip charts.
3. Attendants shall be encouraged to interact with the course instructor through presenting their queries during the training sessions.
4. Real life examples relating to the training materials shall be presented by the instructor and discussed by the group.
5. Teaching strategies will involve interactive and participant-centered discussions. Group and pair-work structured exercises for each learning module, and Power Point Presentations. Moreover, the training methodology will be based on the following techniques:
